Biographical history
Gaétane Larochelle, née le 25 mai 1951 à St-Marc, est la fille de Odilon Larochelle et de Irène Roy. Les documents déposés avaient été conservés par sa tante Jeannette Roy, de St-Marc. Joseph Roy et Marianne Morin, originaires de St-Isidore de Dorchester, parents de Irène et de Jeannette, arrivent en Abitibi en 1923.

Scope and content
Il s'agit d'une série de cartes postales de rues et d'édifices d'Amos, Val d'Or et Senneterre. Celles d'Amos ont été produites par les entreprises Manufacture Canadienne De Nouveauté (Montréal), Québec Photo Engraving Reg'd (Québec), Photogelatine Engraving (Ottawa) et Studio C.E. Morasse (Amos). Les cartes postales sur Val d'Or ont été produites par International Fine Art (Montréal), H.Vavasour Photographer (Val d'Or) et Val d'Or Studio.
